Hey, I totally forgot about this place. I’m trying to get back into taking photographics again, though, so… guess I’ll post it here? That picture-a-day thing didn’t really work out too well, so this time I’m just going to take picture when I want and post them when I want. I DO WHAT I WANT.

Day 8 of 365 - The Colors of the Sunset
I went on a 2.5 mile walk this evening. I was trying to time it so I could have some evening light left, but I waited a bit too long and the sun was setting. The sky was really pretty, though - unfortunately there’s nowhere around where I am to get a decent view of the horizon.
On a related note, today I had a dust spot on my sensor for the first time! Fortunately my camera’s anti-dust shaky thing took care of it, but it did effect the first few pictures I took (which is why I cropped this picture to 1x1, though I do like that aspect ratio.)

Day 7 of 365 - The Giant Birdbath
Well… I’m not even going to pretend that this is a particularly good photo. It’s just that it’s literally the only picture I took today.
Though have to say, those are some pretty cool birds, chillin’ in the pool.

Nothing particularly exciting today. This was taken under S. Monroe St., where it passes over Bloxham. Yeah, it’s a pretty boring photo overall, but I like the texture.

Freecon VII - Part 1, a set on Flickr.
My first set of pictures from Freecon VII! There’s still more to come - mostly pictures from the cosplay contest at the end, some also probably a few more from before that. Some of those need a bit of extra processing because all the flash photography was throwing off my exposure ( I don’t shoot with flash).Photo with 1 note
I went to a nice little pool/grill party with my brother and some friends. I had a lot of fun! We ate some tasty burger and various other things.

This was taken on the second day of Freecon, when me and my brother (guy in the greenish shirt and blue jeans) were going from The Globe, where the Dealer’s Room, Artist’s Alley, and Japanese Festival were, to the SSB, where the events and panels were.

Day 3 of 365 - Extreme Kawai at Freecon
My picture for yesterday is a bit late because I was really tired last night!
Yesterday I was at Freecon, a local convention at FSU. There wasn’t much going on that I was interested in, so I mostly sat around at my friend’s store booth, Extreme Kawaii, scaring away the customers.
I think I’m probably the only person who goes to conventions with a camera who doesn’t take any pictures of cosplayers and such. I’ll hopefully be walking around a bit more today!
